Privacy Policy
Atoi is agent-native team messaging from Creative Intelligence Company. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.

Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Creative Intelligence Company ("Creative Intelligence Company," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information in connection with Atoi (the "Service") — our agent-native team messaging product. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Atoi is a workspace product: an administrator typically provisions a workspace for a team or organization, and members join it. Where Atoi is used on behalf of an organization, that organization controls its workspace and its content, and this policy operates alongside any agreement we have with that organization.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — your name, email address, profile image, and the workspace or organization you belong to, provided by you or your authentication provider when you sign in.
- Workspace content — the messages, threads, channels, files, documents, and other content you and your teammates create, send, or upload in Atoi.
- Agent interactions — the prompts you direct to agents, the context an agent retrieves to answer, the agent's responses, and the traces and provenance attached to each turn.
- Connected services — data we access from third-party tools you authorize Atoi to connect, limited to the scopes you grant.
- Usage and device data — log data, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and product analytics about how the Service is used.
- Cookies and local storage — small identifiers used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and operate the Service.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service and its core messaging, agent, and collaboration features.
- Power agent context, search, and memory so that responses are grounded in your team's workspace.
- Secure the Service, authenticate users, prevent abuse, and investigate violations of our Terms.
- Diagnose problems, monitor performance, and improve and develop the Service.
- Communicate with you about your account, security notices, and product or service updates.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
AI and agent processing
Atoi is built around AI agents that act as members of your workspace. When you mention or invoke an agent, relevant workspace content — for example the thread, connected context, and prior decisions — may be processed by AI models and specialist agents to generate a response.
We use third-party model providers and infrastructure subprocessors to deliver these capabilities, and we share only the data necessary to perform the requested task. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your workspace content to train third-party foundation models for their own purposes without your consent. Agent outputs can be imperfect; you remain responsible for reviewing them before relying on or acting on them.
How we share information
We share information only as described below:
- Within your workspace — content you post is visible to the members and agents with access to the relevant channel, thread, or conversation.
- Service providers and subprocessors — vendors that host infrastructure, provide AI model inference, send communications, or supply analytics, all under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Integrations you connect — third-party services you authorize, limited to the data and scopes you grant.
- Legal and safety — when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users, the public, or Creative Intelligence Company.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account or workspace is active and as needed to provide the Service. Workspace content is retained according to your or your organization's settings and instructions. We may retain limited information after deletion where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce our agreements, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege handling of credentials and connected-service tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update profile information in your account settings, and you can request deletion of your account. Where Atoi is administered by an organization, please also contact that organization, as it may control your workspace data. To exercise a right with us, contact us using the details below.
International data transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you reside. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we use appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.
Children's privacy
Atoi is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
