Sign in on iPhone or iPad, ask in a Thread, read Task proof, and hand unsupported actions to the web or terminal.

Use the iPhone and iPad app to keep a Thread close and read Task proof away from the browser. The records are the same as on the web and in the terminal, but the app can do less with them today.

#Arrive and sign in

Open Atoi and sign in. Library opens after authentication and lists your recent work.

Choose a recent Thread, or start a new one from the compose action in Library.

#Ask in a Thread

Write the outcome you want, add context references only when they help, and choose a model and reasoning strength before you send. The Thread shows your message, Atoi's response, and everyone in a group conversation.

Open a universal link such as /c/<thread> to reach the same Thread directly.

#Answer an Ask

Read an Ask when it appears in the Thread or in Task proof. Inbox decisions are not in the app yet, so open the same record on the web or in the terminal to approve, deny, or choose an option. Return to the app and the resolved state follows the record.

#Watch a Task

Open a Task link from the Thread. A link such as /c/<thread>?task=<task> routes to the Thread with its Task Receipt. Watch the state and read any Ask that is holding the Task.

Starting, cancelling, and continuing a Task are not in the app yet. Use the terminal for those actions.

#Read the Receipt

Read Result, Changes, Checks, and Proof in the Task Receipt. Open returned artifacts and note anything still unresolved before you continue the conversation.

#Share from the web or the terminal

Review the complete Thread, then open it on the web or in the TUI to create a public share. The app shows sharing controls, but public sharing does not work there yet. Test the resulting /share/<share> link signed out before you send it.

#On iPhone and iPad today

You can send a message with its attachments, attach context references, choose a model and a reasoning strength, and see who is in a group. You can also read a Task Receipt in full, including its Asks.

Settings on iPhone and iPad cover your profile, preferences, theme, and text size. These are not on iPhone or iPad yet: Thread and Project management, Inbox decisions, public sharing, reactions, presence, starting or stopping a Task, inspecting a change set, Channels, and Automations. The app adds native navigation, gestures, and universal links in their place.

The iPhone and iPad app has no Computer controls, so local files, git, a shell, and a browser window belong to the Mac app.
